I’m not a typical startup founder. No CS degree. No FANG. No Scaleup background. I started in audit — an industry that hasn’t meaningfully evolved in decades. I went through it myself: long hours, repetitive work, and too little time spent on what actually matters — thinking, judgment, building trust. So I decided to change it. I launched Moby. Recruited my best friend. We got taken by YCombinator, the number 1 accelerator in the world and we know work with the largest audit firms in the world. I see it clearly : Professionals won’t win by working more. They’ll win by being amplified and focusing on what make them distinctive : their judgement and ability to build trust. Less grind. More leverage. Stronger relationships, deeper expertise. At Moby, our goal is to meet them where they already are — in Excel, in documents, in the way they already work. Our role : we stay in the background, remove friction, structure complexity, and unlock a new way of working. That’s the future we are building for.
