When covid hit and conversion was no longer a challenge for instacart, I had the opportunity to work on the newly formed Ads Platform team for a couple month remotely until I decided to leave the company to build my own.

I had the opportunity to lead different projects including: - Application Flow - https://apply.checkr.com - ruby / react / redux This is where every candidate input their information needed to start a background check - Verification Portal - https://verifications.checkr.com - ruby / react This is a portal where applicants can upload additional documents necessary to resume their background checks - Applicant Portal - https://applicants.checkr.com - ruby / react Where applicants can track the status of their background checks and download a PDF copy - PDF generation tool - puppeteer Gather background check results and combine them into a beautiful PDF In November 2017 I started Checkr's new consumer initiative called Better Future - app.betterfuture.com. The idea was to offer a free background check and match candidates with job opportunities that fit their background. I was responsible for building and launching the MVP in a week and worked on adding features in order to find product-market fit over the last year. The project was then shut down in January 2019 and only maintained since.
