Michael Desir is a Student Coop Data Scientist at USPS Office of the Inspector General and is currently studying Data Science and Legal Studies at American University. He previously served as a research intern with the Montgomery County Police Department, where he led an analytics project into officer use of force and surfaced key insights for senior department leadership. His technical portfolio spans dashboard analytics (Tableau), enterprise-scale machine learning (foundation models, fine-tuning), and data operations and governance (Databricks, Airflow).
